Outspan School Uganda
A portion of Knight Tours profits are used to sponsor students at the Outspan Schools for Orphans in Kampala, Uganda. Owner Stan Knight, works with headmaster Thomas Ngobi, in fund-raising, student sponsorship and visits to Africa. Scouting is imbedded in student life to create a sense of belonging and camaraderie for neglected and isolated orphans (Knight is a Scout leader, youth advisor and Eagle Scout). Outspan graduates move into apprenticeships, steady jobs, polytechnic and Uganda's Makerere University.
World Affairs Napa Valley
Owner Stan Knight, brings his international perspective to his community, as Founder of World Affairs Napa Valley. This increasingly popular program hosts unique forums with expert speakers discussing diverse global topics of interest to the wine country community. Its Global Citizens program exposes local students and low-income youth to travel, diplomats, world forums and foreign students to gain global perspective as future leaders. His organization is called, "Napa Valley's Window on the World."
