Stan Knight's father was an airline captain, and he developed an early love of travel and discovery. "Running to the boarding gate is my favorite workout!" After one year as a collegiate ski racer, he put college on hold and explored Africa with a backpack and a journal. Later travels included Europe, Asia, Israel, Chile, Cuba, Canada and all fifty states. After earning a Master's degree in international relations from Tufts and Harvard, and a corporate career, Stan became a wine tourism expert as Napa Valley and Sonoma grew into dynamic destinations. His passion for experience-oriented travel and people-to-people connections added spice to each visit.
Stan became a certified wine educator and built a network of insider contacts in the wine country ecosystem, with a reputation as a destination expert and contributor to local tourism.
