The very wet California winter replenished the vineyards, reservoirs and aquifers under Napa Valley and Sonoma farmland. The yield is nearly double 2022 with an abundant, healthy crop and great weather for harvest. An excellent time of year to visit wine country - see grapes stacked in passing winery trucks, smell the cherry-like aroma of crush and watch wineries at work from mid-September through November 1st . And, notice bleary-eyed vineyard managers and winemakers grabbing a cup of coffee before heading back for non-stop work of the grape harvest season. A full year's worth of effort, continuous expert care of the soil and vines, preparation of the winery, new barrels from France, in anticipation of annual harvest and another great vintage in Napa Valley and Sonoma!
